Tell them more about yourself, they said
Aaaand they… were right. The consortium of friends who have semi-willingly volunteered to be first readers of this newsletter have suggested I should start by introducing myself. Makes sense. Let’s go!
General demographics
- I’m a mom to a boy, who I successfully co-parent with my ex (lately) with little to no drama (this will probably go down as my life’s biggest achievement and I’m good with that ✌️).
- I separated from my (now ex-) husband two years ago. Since then I’ve embarked on a journey of self-discovery which quite fundamentally changed how I see partnerships & love (but that requires a standalone post).
- I’m building a business where I consult founders on creating meaningful digital products, build teams around those products and support individuals on their career paths in product management and UX design. Bringing more female energy into man-led tech.
- I’m building (online and offline) safe spaces where we can talk about s*x, bodies and intimacy. I’m also very curious about the s*x tech space.
- I’m an over-thinker and recovering people-pleaser. I’m loud. Identify as an extroverted introvert (who needs more and more time on her own). Trying to be funny (yes, Yoda, there is no try… 🙄).
What excites me
- Understanding how humans and systems around us work, what problems are there and how to fix them (anything from psychology, to engineering, to design).
- Building great teams that subsequently build better digital products.
- Taking myself on dates. I go see ballet, watch a movie, go to sauna or have a glass of wine on my own. One I haven’t mastered yet: going solo to a concert 😬.
- Dance: I love to dance at concerts, I love to dance to techno, I love couples dancing, and my favourite 2 hours of the week belong to my sensual dance practice.
- Reading a good book in a great ☕️ shop, where I can spend hours at a time.
- Food: whether it’s a dinner at a very fancy restaurant or cooking a big meal for my family and friends.
- Not-small talk.
- Watching my kid play African drums. He’s only 6, but I have high hopes he will be a famous drummer one day and he’ll introduce me to Taylor Swift. 🤞

Fun (and random) facts
- there’s this thing about cooking jams. My personal record: 5 different kinds of jam made in the same summer (🍓, 🫐, 🍑, plum, 🍐).
- I have almost 10 years of experience of working in bars. I worked at a gas station, concert hall, underground club, village fairs, festivals and the most random bars.
- Instead of the 6-month mandatory military training after high school, I would make everyone do 6 months in any kind of service business - helping in hospitals, nurning homes, hospitality etc. Where you have to deal with different kinds of people on a daily basis. We'd be better people.
- I’m someone who reads several books at once. Current stats (Aug 6th 25’):
- books currently opened and waiting to be finished = 24,
- books in the process of being read this week = 4
- In my last month of pregnancy I watched all Marvel movies available at that point in the chronological order (how the story goes, not the releases). Not a big fan of the latest instalments though 🥲. Haven't seen the Pedro Pascal one yet 🤞.
What makes me sad & angry
- Western countries not doing anything about Gaza. The rise of right-wing leaders all over the world.
- The fact that most kids (will) learn about s*x from porn, which is extremely damaging for our society.
- Anyone who puts down other people for any reason.
- Underwear that is too small (when it’s not supposed to be).
- Toxic patriarchy.
So, now you know me. What will this newsletter be about? All of the above, and some more. Part talks about product management and (actual) UX, part navigating how to build a business on my own, part mom-ing, part everything else.
(A)Musings about life.
Thanks for being here,
